I'm not sure if it would or not, really. Phyllo cups that you buy in the store are already cooked, not sure baking a little will necessarily help them be any crisper though if they seem like they have softened in the packaging, you could gently warm them in the oven a bit. Just keep a close eye so that they don't burn.

I'd say you can make it the day before and refrigerate until needed, but being dairy, I wouldn't recommend making too far ahead. Enjoy!
