This is the best recipe for Green Beans, easy and so delicious. I just had to parboil by French Green Beans a little longer, we just like a little crunch to the beans.

In reply to Jo. Minced is basically the same as mashed so yes it's fine. If you are meaning pre-prepared, then sometimes there can be ingredients added to help preserve it that may make it a little less good in dishes like this where it's more obvious rather than blended in, but it should still be OK.

One of the easiest, most delicious green beans ever. So sweet and perfect with ham or any protein. Even my husband loved them. He is a reluctant vegetable eater. I insist on a green veg with every meal.
